Bio

Igor Karpenko was born in 1964 in the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine.

The passion for photography came to Igor at an early age and for 30 years he has been pursuing this passion. Today his earlier works of the 1990-s can be called the “black-and-white classics of the Kharkiv Photography School”. In the author’s style we can read a classical respect of the proportions, a balanced composition and an impeccable technical execution. Igor is a perfectionist in photography, the theme of the last author’s work series “Ideal world. Ukraine” is in a rather harmony with this characteristic touch.
Ideal world – is a world where people are happy just to exist: live, work, love and look in the sky and at the sun.
